From Sabra:
Issues I would like to see politicians address:
1.  Fair education for students of poverty.
2.  Better pay for teachers.
3.  Better teacher training in higher ed.

From Lauren:
I would like to see our legislature engage in a meaningful way about equity in education and look at the spending costs per student across our state.

From Michael:
I would like to hear those who are running with eliminating common core as part of their platform address their specific issues with the standards.

From Wendi:
I would like to see our politicians better the educational process by listening to the communities that serve the students.  The needs are diverse and different in every corner.  However, that does not make any one of them less important.

From Barb:
There is so much research around how poverty affects children’s education that I think any time politicians address poverty, they’re working to improve education for all students.
