Early postsecondary opportunities program advances college, career readiness | Opinion

Stacey Travis and Lindsay Davis-Jones, both veteran educators in Tennessee, team up to highlight the specific benefits brought about for students by the state’s Early Postsecondary Opportunities program, or EPSO. They state that “The goal of the program is to build on the college and career readiness standards students encounter in the classroom and help build a bridge to success after graduation. Parts of this program have proven successful, but there are parts of the EPSO program that need work in order to meet the needs of all students.”
