What should be considered when providing students a well-rounded education?

The Every Student Succeeds Act calls for states, districts and schools to provide students a “well-rounded education,” including subjects like engineering, music, health, technology, computer science, and career education. Of course, teachers know better than anyone: What needs to be done to ensure that students have access to the most enriching curricula and educational experiences possible? What should states, districts, and schools consider as they seek to provide students a well-rounded education?
